Complete Oil Cleaning Systems
Complete systems come in 3 different models. The OPS-20 is capable of 55 gallons per hour. The OPS-50 is
capable of cleaning 108 gallons per hour. The OPS-50X2 uses two OC-50 centrifuges and can clean 216 gallons
per hour. The OC-50 model runs more efficiently than the OC-200 (300 GPH) simply due to the diamter of the centrifuge. The OPS-50X2 is a more affordable and effective solution
to cleaning large amounts of waste oil.
All kits now come with a band heater. The band
header wraps around a 55 gallon drum and takes approximately 4 hours to heat the oil to 180 F.

Any of the following options will clean waste and or virgin vegetable oil, used motor oil or Biodiesel in the wash process. They system
has also been successfully tested with diesel fuel. One user is cleaning transmission fluid with this unit.
For proper centrifuge operation the oil must be heated to 140-180 F. Multiple passes will be needed depending on the degree of contamination.
In most cases "rough" filtering with a 100 mesh (140 micron) strainer is required initially. Then 3-4 turns of the volume through the centrifuge in most cases will give optimum results and a better finished product,
To remove glycerin at the end of the process no heat is needed. More than one pass may be needed.
Centrifuges are not a methanol recovery device.
Centrifuges can not be used to remove lye from Biodiesel production. Water wash is required.
In all cases the centrifuge will de-water BUT on shut down you MUST divert or catch the contents of the rotor before it stops to prevent the water it will hold from draining back into the now clean oil.
The use of extra rotors will speed up the process time. Dirty rotors can be switched out in two minutes and then cleaned after they cool. The cleaning of a rotor at 180F is difficult and will take 15-30 minutes to cool.
Measures 12” wide by 42” tall and 16” deep to stand next to a 55 gallon drum.
